Open Positions for Postdoc Researchers in Formal Methods and Quantum Computing
Announced in November 2024. We are looking for passionate researchers to tackle foundational and applied challenges in formal methods and quantum computing.
The Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan, invites applications for postdoctoral researcher positions under the supervision of Prof. Yu-Fang Chen. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in fundamental research at the intersection of formal methods and quantum computing within Taiwan’s leading research institution.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Proven research expertise in formal methods or physics.
- A strong publication record in top-tier conferences or journals.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: Ranging from 60,000 to 110,000 NTD per month, and 13.5 months per year (approximately 25,110–46,0351 USD or 23,490-43,065 EUR per year), depending on qualifications and experience.
